Lamberts® Pea Protein is a highly concentrated protein product sourced from yellow peas.
The extraction and purification processes raise the protein content from the normal level of 6% in fresh peas to 80% in this product.
This unique process produces protein that is highly soluble and therefore easy to digest and absorb. We specifically chose peas as the source of protein because the amino acid profile is excellent.
Pea protein has many uses as it is free from wheat, gluten, dairy products, eggs, soya and animal products.
It is unsweetened and has a mild savoury taste making it useful for mixing in to soups and stews.
It can also be blended with fruit such as a banana to make a fruit smoothie.

To be stored in a cool, dry place and protected from light, keep it out of reach of smallest children.
This product has a mild, slightly salty taste and when added to soups and stews it also has a thickening effect, so it may sometimes be necessary to add additional liquid.
SOUPS, STEWS AND SAUCES: Add the protein at the end of the cooking period, just before eating. Just sprinkle and mix well.
ABOUT CEREALS: This product mixes very well with muesli cereals. You just have to stir it with the dry muesli before adding the milk.
FRUIT SHAKES: This protein powder can be crushed or mixed with any fresh fruit. The mild salty taste is lost just by mixing 10g of protein with a serving of fruit, such as a banana.
MILK SHAKES: Protein powder dissolves well when mixed with shakes, 10g can easily be mixed into a small shake and 20g into a large shake.
FOR ATHLETES: Proteins contribute to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass. This product can be used to increase your overall protein intake. Depending on the amount of first-class protein in your basic diet, you can consume a 20g dose or two doses (40g) per day.
LOW APPETITE / DISEASE RECOVERY: We recommend a daily dose of 20 g, we also always advise eating different healthy foods and considering taking a good multivitamin and mineral supplement, particularly if you have a poor appetite.
Try adding 20g of Concentrated Pea Protein Powder to soups. In this way, the protein content could be enriched in homemade soups, canned or in sachets (possibly you would have to add more liquid).
