Natural extract from the seeds of Griffonia simplicifolia
PRODUCT UNDER REFORMULATION.
Lamberts® takes great care to ensure the purity of the 5-HTP used in this product which is extracted from a natural source, the seeds of a plant called Griffonia. The extract from this plant is now one of the most extensively used supplements worldwide and is particularly popular in the USA where it has a long history of use. Our tablets are manufactured in the UK to pharmaceutical GMP standards.
5-HTP, short for 5-hydroxytryptophan, is a derivative of tryptophan, an amino acid that is present in high protein foods such as meat and dairy products and whilst the body makes its own 5-HTP from tryptophan it is able to use the 5-HTP provided by supplements.
We can confirm that Lamberts 5-HTP is Peak X free.
