Is Florisene® suitable for men?
R/ Florisene® is a supplement that is high in iron and has been formulated for a particular type of hair loss related to having low serum ferritin (iron stores) in the body. This is most common in women, and might only be appropriate for a man whose iron stores were very low. This is best determined by a blood test. Hair loss is men can often be hereditary or sometimes due to stress. Stress related hair loss may be supported by the use of a good multivitamin and mineral preparation such as Maxi Hair® and Fish Oil. Both of these supplements ensure that your body is getting all the vital nutrients it needs for optimum health. There is currently no supplementary support for hereditary type hair loss.[/lightweight-accordion] [lightweight-accordion title="> Amount of d-alpha tocopherol in fish oil" title_tag="h2"]
I want to know how much d-alpha tocopherol the encapsulation of the Ref. 8508 Fish Oil.
A) LAMBERTS® fish oil undergoes a sophisticated 5-stage purification process that removes aflatoxins, heavy metals, antibiotics, PCBs, dioxins, PAHs, irradiated ingredients and pesticides, as well as any other contaminants. Subsequently while it is inside the capsules, the oil is protected from oxidation by the addition of natural vitamin E. This product contains 5 mg in its d-alpha tocopherol form.[/lightweight-accordion] [lightweight-accordion title="> Source of Omega 3 for Dogs and Cats" title_tag="h2"]
My dog is allergic to cod oil, so I need to know which is the source of the Omega 3 of the product Omega 3 for Dogs and Cats (Code 8996-120).
A. Pet fish oil is from the same source, and therefore has the same high standards in quality tests, as Lamberts pure fish oil (8508). That is why it is indicated on the label that it is “fish body oil”. As we know, it is safer to give Omega 3 dogs from fish oil, as it has all the benefits but none of the drawbacks such as the inclusion of vitamin A, as it can become toxic at higher doses (so that your dietary intake should be considered as a whole).[/lightweight-accordion] [lightweight-accordion title="> Omega 3 dosage" title_tag="h2"]
If the recommended daily intake of Omega 3 for an adult under 40 years of age is 1000mg, how many milligrams of Omega 3 would I be able to obtain from two capsules of Pure Fish? What would be the difference between taking the Cod Liver Oil in addition to vitamins A, D and E which it contains? In the pot one capsule a day is recommend.
R/In answer to your questions; I can facilitate the following information:
Cod Livre Oil chemical compsition:
The components of Cod Liver Oil are vitamin A (antimicrobial factor and growth stimulant), vitamin D, and the essential fatty acids Omega 3 (EPA and DHA). There are also important therapeutic benefits linked to phosphates, chlorine, iodine and bromine.
This oil is, in addition, made up of:
Glycerol esters (85%) of unsaturated fatty acids: oleic acid, linoleic, gadoleic and palmitoleic.
Glycerol esters (15%) of saturated fatty acids: myristic acid, palmitic acid, and traces of stearic acid.
IMPORTANT: Due to Lamberts Healthcare’s 5 stage purification process.
Differences between Pure Fish Oil and Cod Liver Oil:
Cod liver oil and Fish Oil are similar, but have different compositions: Fish oil has a much lower content of vitamins A and D in comparison with Cod Liver Oil. This could pose a problem if you need to exceed the daily dosage recommended of vitamins A and D in order to benefit from therapeutic quantities of EPA and DHA from Cod Liver Oil. These vitamins are fat soluble, therefore it is possible that a dietary excess could be accumulated in your body and be harmful. A possible hypervitaminosis A and D (especially A) could only take place by consuming a dosage really over the recommended on the label. Since our bodies naturally produce vitamin D when exposed to the sunlight, a common way to benefit from such oils while avoiding overdoses (very rare otherwise), is by taking cod liver oil during the fall and winter, and fish oil during the spring and summer. The only way to ensure there won’t be a deficit or overdose of vitamin D (caused by supplements) is to conduct an analysis of the vitamin levels.[/lightweight-accordion] [lightweight-accordion title="> Indications of OracOmega3 and Pure Fish Oil 1100mg" title_tag="h2"]
I was wondering if you could help to clarify the indications of OracOmega3 and Pure Fish Oil 1100mg. Anything you can tell me about these products will be helpful.
R) The product PURE FISH OIL is more universal in the sense that it is a product “recommendable to anyone” due to the properties of the Omega3 fatty acids. We should not forget that the intake of these is usually insufficient for most people since they won’t eat fish various times a week. In summary, we can highlight the following general properties:
- Promotes cardiovascular health
- Reduces triglycerides and helps to maintain equilibrium between HDL/LDL
- Promotes healthy joints and modulates inflammatory responses
- Correct function of the hormonal system
- Correct function of the immune system
- Brain development during gestation and lactation
- Protection against neurodegenerative diseases
- Protection of the nervous tissue
- Supports memory and concentration
- Aids in the treatment of depression and other mental illnesses
- Helps maintain skin in good health
- Correct formation of the retina
The product PURE ORAC OMEGA has exactly the same properties as the previous product, however the association between the fatty acids omega 3 and antioxidants (quantified in ORAC units) potency the protective actions in the nervous and cardiovascular tissues, better protecting its functions and preventing degeneration and aging. This product would be better suited for “individuals that suffer from severe oxidative stress” or as prevention for other pathologies.
Free radical excess can cause cellular damage, or oxidative stress, which is believed to play a role in the development of macular degeneration, as an example. Antioxidants neutralize the harmful effects of oxidative stress and help to protect against cellular damage. Likewise, decades of dietary findings and investigations suggest that consuming larger quantities of antioxidants could help to protect again certain diseases.
What situations indicate high levels of oxidative stress? Some examples may be: Individuals with confirmed cardiac disease, individuals prone to suffer from certain cancers (such as skin cancer), macular degeneration, diabetes, pulmonary diseases as well as individuals exposed to emotional stress and athletes (regular exercise has been proven to be beneficial, but it has also been proven to increase levels of oxidative stress), etc.[/lightweight-accordion] [lightweight-accordion title="> Omega 3,6,9 & Pure Fish Oil Vitamin E" title_tag="h2"]
