I have to supplement with B12 but I am currently breastfeeding and I see your product is not suitable for me. Could you tell me the reason for this? I precisely try to avoid lack of B12 in breast milk because I do not eat a lot of food of animal origin.

R/ Some supplements, in certain doses, are not tested in pregnant or breastfeeding women because it is not ethical to do so. It does not necessarily mean a contraindication, but Lamberts prefers that if they are to be recommended it is a Health professional who does it. When it is a contraindication (that supposes a known problem, it is indicated as such).

A precaution is set so that people do not supplement on their own, even if they are nutrients that are in the food, without professional advice, as is the case of pregnancy / lactation. Therefore, we advise you to check your diet, perhaps help you make some changes and any decision regarding supplements with a health professional.

Lamberts has a special formula for women that can be used during pregnancy and lactation. It’s called Strong Start MVM.

Could you tell me what is the source of the vitamin B-12?

R/ Lamberts®’ vitamin B-12 source is methylcobalamin to favors bioavailability since our system transforms cyano and hydroxyl into methylcobalamin. It is through fermentation of bacteria so that it can be consumed by vegans and vegetarians. It is not sourced from animals.

It is vitamin B-12 from LAMBERTS ® bioactive?

R/ Vitamin B-12: we already know that there are other not so comparable and suitable sources, and that the main problem is for vegetarians and vegans.

LAMBERTS ® vitamin B-12 is methylcobalamin, to favour the bioavailability, since the body will transform ciano and hydroxy forms into methylcobalamin. This change on the basis of studies was recently made. Obtaining is by bacterial fermentation, to make it suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
