During an allergic process, many biochemical reactions are triggered in the body as a result of the body’s hypersensitivity to certain substances (allergens) and reacted by creating elimination processes (sneezing, tearing, diarrhea, hives, …) and inflammatory, to “burn and eliminate “toxins.
Anthocyanidins inhibit the release of histamine and proinflammatory prostaglandins. Both types of substances are powerful mediators of the inflammatory and allergic process.
By acting on the release of histamine and proinflammatory prostaglandins, anthocyanidins help modulate the inflammatory process in general and control the allergic process in particular. The recommended dose is 160 mg of anthocyanidins, twice daily.
